City Wharf Financial Recruitment is a global executive search firm covering the financial markets focused on placements within investment banking and other financial institutions. We are a recruitment supplier to a number of banks, hedge funds, asset managers, wealth managers and brokerages. Our office is based in Canary Wharf and our aim is to hire 1-2 experienced senior IT Recruitment Consultants who have developed a good track record covering a niche sector like SAP, Oracle, .Net Developer, etc , we are open to ideas… focusing mainly on contract roles and some perm.   This opportunity is to help set up a new IT desk for CWR and once established head up the section, with a view to rapidly expand into several other tech sectors with new hires.  Suitable applicants must have a hunter sales personality and be passionate about recruitment. In return, we will be offering a lucrative financial package, support in every which way we can and help you grow a successful IT recruitment desk over the next 12-18 months. 

We would also welcome applicants who come from a tech background that would relish the opportunity to get into the IT recruitment sector. Full 360 recruitment training will be given with a view to head the area up once you have proven yourself.  Key attributes needed for the role are excellent communication skills, well presented and professional in person, strong tech knowledge/experience, not afraid of getting on the phones, driven to win and close deals. Ideally you will have a few of years in some form of sales where you will be able to demonstrate hitting sales targets and possess an entrepreneurial mind-set.
